An activity report from your Kansas MCDC Director:
We have been busy around here at the little old MCDC store. Last Thursday and Friday, I was in Wichita for the public forum with the Peoples Alliance for Latino Advancement. It was chaired by Allen Oakleaf , Wichita, Kansas CHapter Director, Dennis Romero, Bob Hernandez, and me. We believe we had a very good meeting with more of the same in the planning stages. If you have not seen the article from the Wichita Eagle, it will be at the bottom of this page. The Eagle reported 55 people however, we counted 85, they must have been at a different meeting than we were attending[ or taught a different math ]. However, we were disappointed at the small number of Hispanics at the meeting. 10 to 15 at the most. We found out prior to the meeting that the local Hispanic radio station took it on themselves to announce to their listeners that they did not have to go to the meeting. Their reason, the station would have a reporter at the meeting and they would report. Bob Hernandez talked to the reporter who agreed that the station had made an error but that does not change the fact that we were torpedoed from the get go as far as getting Hispanic participation.
From Wichita on Friday afternoon it was on to Topeka to set up the exhibit for last weekends gun show. Thanks to Roger and his bride, Mary T and Ferol B from Topeka we had a good showing. We talked to many people and signed a few up on the spot. We had a great weekend as far as new members and who knows how many who took applications will join in the future as usually is the case. We are gaining new members in and around the Topeka area and hope to get a Chapter started there soon. As well, we have new Chapter noises from the Salina , Hutchison, Hays, and Dodge City areas and we keep working on other Kansas cities as well. Our goal is to have a Chapter in every state Senate and Legislative District in Kansas or at least as many as we can develop.
We are working on several local contractors, and they know it. Today at a huge job site in Overland Park , Kansas none of the Hispanic help showed up for work and one of our supporters was quizzed several times about information (tri folds) and word of mouth he was distributing. Information on this work site as well as a few others has been turned over to ICE and the IRS. We continue to get more and more reports from the public about employers of illegal aliens and we do not just sit on it but as you know if they, the authorities do not take action, there is not much we can do at this stage.
Ret. Col Albert Rodriguez of the national organization, ”You Don’t Speak for Me” is planning to be here around the 12th of April for a meeting with PALA and the Heart of America Chapter and we are planning a rally for mid June to coincide with the national rally, Francis S who has experience with these types of things is working on organizing this event. We are still deciding if it will be in the metro KC area or at the Topeka Capitol building. We continue to need help in all of this as well as other things in the planning stages so if you can help your Chapters, the Wichita Chapter, the Emporia Chapter or the Heart of America Chapter please contact your Chapter director and thanks to all of you for your support.

=============================================================================================== Unlikely allies hold forum on illegal immigration
BY CHRISTINA M. WOODS The Wichita Eagle
The United States wouldn't have as large of an illegal immigration problem if Mexicans could earn a decent living in Mexico, said Dennis Romero, co-chairman of the People's Alliance for Latino Advancement. ''You wouldn't have to build a wall and you wouldn't need the Minutemen running them out," Romero said at a community forum Thursday at the downtown Wichita Public Library. The alliance held the forum with the Kansas Minuteman Civil Defense Corp., a group that promotes reporting illegal immigrants to federal authorities. The forum, attended by about 55 people, was to demonstrate how the two groups' viewpoints on immigration were similar. Organizers said they would have liked to have seen more Hispanics attend. Alex Molina who was one of a handful of Hispanics who attended said the meeting was full of racism. ''The United States is a land of immigrants "Molina said in Spanish. ''That is its strength. "But Joe White, who also was at the forum, said that people's lack of assimilating is among his many concerns about illegal immigration. ''They don't want the assimilate, and that's not right," he said. "It's changing us." White said he'd be following the Minutemen's activities closely. "Sometimes you don't need to be in a group to fight," he said, "but we do need to share the burden with these gentlemen." Allen Oakleaf, who oversees the Wichita Minuteman chapter, opened the meeting with a short video on immigration's impact on the country's population. By 2050, the video said, legal immigration will boost the U.S. population to near 500 million. The video did not talk about illegal immigration. Ed Hayes, founder of the Kansas Minuteman chapter, said the Constitution guarantees that states are protected from invasion. "That's what we've got going on here with illegal immigration - an invasion," Hayes said, adding that people should be concerned about Middle Eastern terrorists, too. Hayes said the Minuteman and the Latino alliance are concerned about immigrant exploitation, sex rings, slavery and employment abuses. "Don't just listen to what we say," Hayes said. "Go do some research." Bob Hernandez, co-founder of the Latino alliance, focused his presentation on illegal immigration's impact on the country and how American-born Mexicans have failed to appropriately respond. He said Hispanics won't get sympathy for their cause if they're marching down streets, waving Mexican flags. As he pointed to a picture of Hispanics holding a "We are America" sign during a march, Hernandez said, "Act American. If you like Mexico, go back to Mexico." Hernandez said people must hold the Mexican government accountable to end corruption and poverty~ two driving forces, he said, of illegal immigration. He asked people to sign a petition to send to Mexico urging the country to, among other things, improve its economy. "The problem is in Mexico," he said, "it's not here." Audience member Ken Thomas called the Latino alliance's cooperation with the Minutemen "a deal with the devil." "I know these people and that's what makes it so interesting," Thomas said. While he did not address the group, he said he wished more people would have attend-ed and challenged the two groups thinking. "Sometimes you stay away," he said, "but sometimes we need to come and hear what's going on." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FYI to you all.

I just returned this afternoon(Sunday Feb 25th) from Valley Park, Missouri where I met the hero's of Valley Park,  Missouri. The Mayor (Jeff Whitteaker) and City Aldermen of Valley Park who were present at last nights rally. These Patriots who have followed Hazleton, PA's lead on city ordinances in controlling the violations of laws regarding illegal immigrants and status in their city are not backing off of the threats of the Communist ACLU and the rest who want amnesty in this country for the millions of illegal invaders. Of the 130 + persons present, were at least seven members of the Kansas Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and the Heart of America Chapter, two who drove from Hutchinson, Kansas. The rest of us drove from the metro KC area, which was far enough, seeing as how it was raining harder that a cow relieving him/herself on a flat rock, for most of the drive. For a night that was miserable as far as weather conditions is concerned the crowd was very impressive and at last report they had collected over 6 K in donations as a result of the rally. They need all the help they can get so if you would like to help please go to their web site if you would like to contribute. MCDC President Chris Simcox was the featured speaker at the meeting and received many standing "O's" during his presentation as well as many questions following the meeting from the line of folks who waited to meet him. Applications were handed out to many in the crowd, which was supportive of our mission. Several other groups opposing illegal immigration and amnesty and the North American Union, SPP etc. were present. I was [present] at an informal meeting after the rally and talked with the city leaders who I am so proud to know and am impressed with and I told them so. An interesting point that sticks out was what Alderman Mike White told me, in the last two elections in Valley Park, 50 % or more of voters showed up and voted. The election before last which was for Mayor they had a 70 % turnout. Just think what we could accomplish if 70% of registered voters would get off their collective apathetic rumps and vote in the next few elections. In the meantime, just send letters to our elected pro amnesty politicians on all levels. Let’s start from the very tiptop of this very sad iceberg that wants to go against [crush] our will and give our country away. We probably will not change his mind, but we can certainly go after the congress and senate, they are not lame ducks! Some of them.

===================================================================================== You may get tired of seeing this but it will be on each and every email I send out from this day on until we win and we will. I urge you all to do the same. I have been saying this at the beginning of any and all meetings we have but now it will be on all emails. It is a part of the education process of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, at least our part of it. It goes along with this statement, there are two parties ”The Traitors and the Patriots!" Section 4 of Article IV of the Constitution of the United States. You know, that thing that we Patriots cherish, that many of the politicians arrogantly say is "just a piece of paper"! Here it is:
Section . 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence. ==============================================================================
Believe me folks, it was water in the cup!
Anyway we received fair coverage in the Emporia Gazette on our saturdays meeting. Please generate some interest by posting a comment at the bottom of the article (probably will have to go on line to the Emporia Gazette to do so) and let's get this thing rolling in Emporia. Remember Emporia, the deceased immigrant TB case? The radio station (KVOE) that wouldn't run our radio spots called me after seeing the news article this afternoon and all of a sudden they are interested. This was the longest meeting we have had with a very attentive and interested audience and nearly all of them took applications. No one wanted to leave except me! As well I and our Emporia Chapter Director, Lex Price have received calls for applications so there you go. Our next meeting is this Thursday, February 22 at the Mission Kansas NE Courthouse. If you want to attend bring a friend or two or three and if you need further information I have attached the press release so you have it. Read the news article and press release below and..........  Ed Hayes, speaks Saturday at the Kansas Minuteman Defense Corps meeting at the American Legion. Hayes is the Director of the Kansas Chapter. Emporia now has its own Minuteman Civil Defense Corps chapter. The announcement came in a meeting on Saturday from Ed Hayes, director of the Kansas Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. The organization originally started as a group of people who would patrol the borders and report people illegally coming into the country. “This is the border,” said Lex Price, who will head the local chapter. “We have to stop it here. When you join the chapter here, you join all the other chapters. Our power comes from joining together. “We’re not white. We’re not black. We’re Americans. We’re patriotic Americans.” Hayes said the Minuteman organization started less that two years ago. There are three chapters in Kansas, including Emporia. The organization has chapters in 40 states, with the goal of having chapters in all 50 states. “They would get together and watch the border,” Hayes said about the organization’s roots. “We do not take action. We do not make contact with anyone. We watch and then report. We’re not the law.” Hayes said the organization’s goal is to preserve the United States by preventing illegal aliens from entering the country and lowering the number of immigrants that are allowed into the country each year. “The movement is to save our country as we know it today,” Hayes said. “There are so many people coming into our country.” Price said the point of Saturday’s meeting was to get people together in the Emporia area. “I want America like I knew it,” Price said. “We can get together as friends and gripe among ourselves, but the time has come and if we don’t join together and be proactive we will be overtaken. It’s a concerted effort to push us in the dark.” Price said that U.S. citizens don’t have the same rights as illegal aliens and that more money in schools is put toward illegal aliens’ children than U.S. citizens’ children and the cost of health care is going up. Price said that people who speak against illegal aliens are looked down upon. “If you’re against them, you’re a racist, you’re a bigot,” Price said. “If we want to seal the border, we’re racist. We need to do something. If you don’t, they’ll pick us off one by one.” Hayes agrees. “We’ve got a lot of people who are afraid to join because they are afraid to be called names,” Hayes said. “We get called all sorts of things, but the only way to get beyond that is to step up and not care what they call us.” Hayes added that the organization is not made up of racist people. “We’re not that,” he said. “We’re patriots.” Minuteman is working with a Hispanic group out of Wichita called the People’s Alliance for Latino Advancement, Hayes said. “They are American citizens,” Hayes said. “They are for our country. That shows that not all Hispanics want to have illegal aliens in the country.” Hayes said the organization also is against what is called the NAFTA Superhighway. Hayes said the highway will run from Texas through the middle of the country on up into Canada. “The plan is to erase our borders,” Hayes said. “What this is all about is to make Canada, America and Mexico a unified government just like Europe.” Hayes added that the highway would be several lanes wide and there would be a “smart port” in Kansas City, where inspections would take place. “That’s going to be sovereign Mexican territory,” Hayes said. “Same as their embassy in Washington, D.C. Who’s going to look at the trucks? It’s going to be Mexico.” Larry Wiley, webmaster for the Kansas Minuteman, also talked about the superhighway. “That corridor is going to cut this country in half,” Wiley said. He added that part of the highway is being built in Texas. “They’re taking land by imminent domain. It’s a pretty bad thing going on in Texas.” One of the tasks of Minuteman is to educate the public, Hayes said. “We need people to watch something else other than the 6 o’clock news on television,” he said. “People need to shop around.” Hayes said the influx of illegal aliens is draining the United States’ resources. “They’re ramped on our social services,” he said. “Social Security, food stamps, SRS, hospitals. A number of hospitals in the Southwest are going out of business. If they come in, they have to treat them.” Hayes said the large number of foreign people coming into the United States are bringing in foreign diseases. “They’re bringing in Third World diseases,” Hayes said. “Are illegal aliens coming in being checked for diseases? No.” Comments Posted by mythoughts (anonymous) on February 19, 2007 at 2:59 p.m. (Suggest removal) What about our precious bodily fluids? What I want to see is one major crackdown on outfits such as Tyson Foods. They are the culprits - and are grinning all the way to the bank. Hey everyone.
FYI, the Star has a new feature, free for now but if you go online to the KC Star and click on "Press Release Central" on the home page they are displaying adds for free for now. I have an ad on Thursdays meeting, Feb 22,  and it is showing up as the 2nd most viewed article. Lets keep it that way by telling everyone about it and hopefully they will check it out. I am betting that it will become number one and will stay that way until after Thursday.

We had a very good meeting Sat Feb 17th at the first Emporia, Kansas Chapter meeting, the longest meeting we have ever held. No one wanted to leave. We played the NUMBERS video from Numbersusa, Joyce Mucci's discussion about Missouri HB487(Illegall Immigrant Bill) and Richard Fatherly's discussion on who and how to write about illegal alien invaders.  For a Saturday where there were two local basketball games, one wrestling match and two other Kansas college games we did good having the crowd we had. Twenty-five people attended with the Emporia Gazette (article forthcoming). We also had a good group discussion for about 30 minutes after the meeting shut down.

We also had the Overland Park Gun show this weekend and signed several new members, gave out a lot of applications and tri folds etc. and of course played our slide shows etc.

That's all that is on the schedule for this week other than the Thursday meeting and Valley Park on Saturday. Next scheduled event after that is the Town Hall meeting in Wichita, Kansas on the 8th of March with the PALA Patriots. Keep passing the word to everyone, we woke up a lot of minds at Emporia and the gun show this weekend and that is one of our best weapons in stopping this invasion, forcing our elected officials enforce the 4th article of the 4th amendment of our constitution and enforce the laws of our nation of laws. I want to thank everyone who helped this weekend, Roger #1, Roger #2, Joyce, Al, Steve, Marlin and Ted who offered to help and Larry and Lex for the Organizing of the Emporia, Kansas meeting. For those of you who do not know we now have an Emporia, Kansas Chapter, Chapter Director, Lex Price.

Before Ed Hayes explains what the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps is, he wants everyone to know what it's not. "The Minuteman is not about race, but a nation of laws," he said. "It's about enforcing laws, which our country is not doing."....

By Stephen Deere ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH
Below is the link to the story.
http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/stlouiscitycounty/story/E08644C607E05D75862572170011C2C6?ST. LOUIS - A group of religious leaders is urging the city to enact a law making the municipality more friendly to immigrants — legal or illegal. The ordinance would prohibit city agencies from investigating immigrants' citizenship or residency when they seek city services, unless the city is required to by federal or state law. The city of Chicago enacted such an ordinance this year. The measure would allow immigrants to obtain business or marriage licenses with identification from their home country or local consulate. Group members say they want to counteract what Valley Park did this summer when that city enacted a law prohibiting landlords and businesses from renting to or hiring illegal immigrants. "We believe that this whole thing involves human rights," said Edgar Ramirez, pastoral associate at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in south St. Louis. "Immigrants, like all other people, possess human dignity that should be protected. We believe that from the Christian perspective that strangers should be welcome." Ramirez, chairman of the Metropolitan Congregations United immigration task force, emphasized that the initiative is still in its early stages and that no one has agreed to sponsor it. He said couples in his congregation who have been in the U.S. for years would like to get married, but are afraid to try. Some city employees require state or federal identification before issuing marriage licenses, he said, while others do not. Ramirez and other members from the Congregations United, a coalition of more than 60 churches, have met with a few aldermen over the past three weeks. Aldermen say they need to study the issue before lending their support. "I totally disagree with what Valley Park has enacted," said Alderman Matt Villa, D-11th Ward. But he isn't sure whether he favors a law prohibiting city employees from asking if a person is here legally. "I don't know," he said. "I have to learn a whole lot more before I can make a well-informed decision." Alderman Jennifer Florida, D-15th Ward, said that immigration has been an important part of St. Louis history but that she, too, needed more time before deciding. "I am certainly interested in exploring this legislation and what it could do, but this is not something that could be ramrodded through the board," she said. Both Ramirez and the Rev. Jack Schuler, of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Ferguson, said Valley Park's ordinance has caused a lot of fear in the Hispanic community. More than 20 families fled from Valley Park after the law was enacted in July, they noted. "Valley Park didn't solve anything — it just moved people to the next community," he said. Last month, the American Civil Liberties Union and attorneys from several other organizations sued Valley Park, calling the ordinance unconstitutional. A circuit court judge barred the city from enforcing it until a trial can be held. Schuler said many Hispanics in St. Louis County are worried about their own cities enacting a similar law. "They wonder who's next," he said. sdeere@post-dispatch.com | 314-340-8116

Project Aware meeting in Hutchinson, Kansas by MCDC member
Lila Fritschen, human relations officer for Hutchinson, was alarmed when she spotted a Minuteman flyer and immediately took it down. She contacted "Project Aware" to hold an emergency meeting for the public about the dangers of the "vigilante" Minutemen and other "hate groups."  She contacted the Hutchinson newspaper, who put this information on its front page, and entitled the article "Group to warn of vigilante Minutemen."  The meeting was held Saturday, Oct 28, at Hutchinson Community College.  Guest speakers were two immigration attorneys from Kansas City. The primary speaker was Angela Ferguson.  I contacted Ed about this meeting. He, along with Allen, our Wichita chapter leader and several other Minutemen attended. My sister and I were there. Angela began the meeting by having us introduce ourselves and tell where our grandparents came from; thus establishing that we are all immigrants.  Angela then explained that this meeting was called because of some "recent rumblings" of some hate groups forming in Kansas, namely the Minutemen. She launched into a long tirade "exposing" the criminal, racist, vigilante Minutemen.....personally attacked the integrity of our founder, Chris Simcox...she claimed that groups such as Federation for Immigration Reform, NumbersUSA, and others were dangerous and racist, as well as TV programs such as Lou Dobbs.  Angela spoke glowingly of the wonderful La Raza organization, which has done so much good work in helping Latinos with education and organizing rallies. She thought it was wonderful when La Raza organized the rallies in Kansas City in which thousands of Latinos demanded their rights and demanded citizenship. Ed spoke up, and said, "Let me tell you about La Raza." Angela scoffed, and with her voice dripping sarcasm, she replied, "oh yes, I know ALL about La Raza and about Reconquista and their plans to take back the entire southwest of the United States!" At this, the pro-illegal immigrant faction burst into spontaneous, enthusiastic applause. My sister and I were appalled.  Angela spoke of Christianity, humanity and forgiveness for these poor people who cross our borders illegally; that they only come here for jobs and to support their families and therefore they are far less likely to commit crimes that the general population. She called upon church leaders to explain their thoughts about these new immigrants.  A minister of a local church said that Jesus calls upon us to open our hearts and lands and that we must recognize the rights of all migrants and that we must give them all social, educational, and medical benefits hat other citizens enjoy. Then he quoted scripture.  Angela spoke of corporations who travel to Mexico to recruit Mexican > citizens to come to the United States and work in their businesses. Angela admitted that some people cross the border illegally but that this was justified because many attain legal status later on. She does not believe that illegal immigrants should wait in line to become citizens, as the legal quota system would require. She said it would take too many years for these people to reunite with their families if they came here legally. She believes they should cross the border, unite with their families and then work on citizenship. She praised Senator Brownback for his work in helping illegal immigrants here in Kansas. She praised the mercy and forgiveness of the Immigration Service when they gave citizenship to an illegal immigrant after he had killed an American in a drunk driving incident; ( after serving 3 years in jail) At discussion time, Ed and Allen and the other Minutemen spoke up for their group and their beliefs. Ed specifically stated that they were not racist and that Al Garza, second-in-command of the Minutemen, is Hispanic.  The Minutemen left at 4PM; Angela declared "NOW we can have an open discussion!!" She then asked, "Do you really want hate groups like this running around town, stirring up fears and racial hatreds?" Suddenly the room seemed full of emotion. One woman worried that if the Minutemen formed in Hutchinson, that they might notice the color of her skin and report her to Immigration. Someone then asked, "Is this the kind of Hutchinson we want, having people running around doing Immigration's job? Our main focus is to work things out and not to bring in groups to point out the color of our skin." Angela said that she noticed that the Minutemen were not on the Canadian border, so that proved they were racist. Someone said "we need to be careful with hate crimes--- we need to be careful that it doesn't escalate because of our skin color."  The rhetoric of this meeting parrots that of La Raza; there are many groups who are fronts for La Raza.

Join Us in Kansas City on Oct. 30 for a Candlelight Vigil to Save the American Worker from Guest Worker Amnesty Mark your calendar!
Bring friends and family! Help save the American worker by participating in a candle light vigil opposing guest worker amnesty next Monday, Oct. 30, at the Anita Gorman Park in Kansas City, Missouri. This peaceful vigil will begin at 5:30PM at the Northland Fountain in Anita Gorman Park which is located at N. Oak St. Trfwy. & N.E. Vivion Road. Candles will be provided, KCMO AM 710 will be there broadcasting live, and the following speakers have been invited to participate: Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO, 6th district) - confirmed Sen. James Talent (R-MO) Joyce Mucci, Mid-America Immigration Reform Coalition - confirmed Missouri Minutemen Representative- confirmed Professor Kris Kobach, national expert on constitutional and immigration law, Senior Counsel for the Immigration Reform Institute (IRLI). Thanks to the commitment and hard work of immigration reformers across America, the U.S. House of Representatives stood firmly against Senate efforts to pass massive guest worker amnesty legislation, S. 2611. This is a huge victory, but the battle is far from over! There is a very real threat that Congress could move ahead with guest worker amnesty when they return after the election for the lame-duck session. We must send an undeniable message NOW, prior to elections, that American voters demand a Congress that protects American workers by rejecting all guest worker amnesty schemes. Please mark your calendars to join this vigil, and ask everyone you know to do the same!

WICHITA, KANSAS, 10/22/06
Yesterdays Wichita meeting went well I think. We had a good crowd, good questions towards the end and some good statements from participants, those people attending the meeting, one a doctor about impact on hospitals and another from a contractor who is trying to make a living competing with the "Contractor Slave Laborers" who are hiring illegals to do the same work. Wichita wants us badly. I received calls from as far away as Salina Ks. for information following the broadcasting of our radio spots which were broadcast four times, once during the Rush show. Among other things they are hoping the MCDC will get a proposed "Mexican Consulate" office in Wichita stopped and we will work on this. The Latino/Hispanic folks made a well organized attempt to "set us up" including having their own TV station there. I was glad to see two more stations show up so there would be other opinions on the meeting. About thirty of them showed up, nearly all of the younger ages and as I understand it a, cult type of organization called the Sunflower Action Coalition which is headed up by an old girl who likes to attend all of these type meetings and disrupt them by taking over with her comments. Just before her comments about 20 of the group got up at the same time on queue (at about the time I finished my presentation, mostly female) and moved to the back of the room. This left a few of them (males) scattered around the room and a couple behind two of my members who were helping with the program. After my presentation she stood up and announced that 90% of what I said was "just not true" and I asked her to give me an example. Her example was incorrect and the crowd let her know it. I elected to debate her and did for about a minute at which time one of the audience challenged her and her statements which he said were all wrong. One of the younger well statured guys behind my assistants got up and got in this guys face, accused him of being rude to the old lady and as they stood there nose to nose I walked forward and asked the Hispanic guy to leave. They stood there tight jawed and nose to nose and the second time I asked him to leave he did. All this while three TV stations had their cameras rolling. The guy knew he was wrong and the cameras would show it in that we did nothing to escalate the matter. We also had reporters from two newspapers that I know of, one is the liberal paper "The Pitch" from Kansas City which is doing a "hatchet job" on me and the Minuteman CDC I am told. Reports I got from the Wichita folks is that the TV stations with the exception of one (Ch 12) did segments very favorable to us and they are getting a lot of inquiries on memberships. A lot of people at the meeting took applications. The Library where the meeting was held does not allow money to be exchanged for any reason so all have to be received by mail. I announced this at the beginning of the meeting as one of the last things we need is bad press for breaking the rules. As far a numbers on new applications we will have to see. We arrived in Wichita early and met with new member Allen Oakleaf and talked with him about the Chapter Leadership position, gave him particulars etc. He emailed me last night and said he would be accepting that role and I am highly recommending him for the job. He has the time, knows a lot of people in Wichita having been in business both past and present and he has administrative experience in managing these type of groups. He will tell you that he doesn't know how long he will remain in Wichita but he will start and direct the Chapter as long as he is there. His plans are to eventually move to Southern Missouri close to the Arkansas line. I told him if he makes this move he will just have to start a chapter there and he agreed. Recently there were 5 Hispanics indicted for using false documentation, claiming to be legal and working at one of the aircraft plants. Also a day or so prior to our meeting a family of five was indicted for manufacturing and selling forged documents such as SS cards etc. and the general Wichita public is aware of this as the news has reported it. Some of this was mentioned here in the Star. The library folks were very nervous when the Coalition group showed up and called the Wichita police. The police told them they would only come if there was a problem as they were busy. When the two had their "discussion" the library called 911 and the police told them they wouldn't come unless blows were struck as they were busy and since it went no further they did not come. This is what the library security person told me following the meeting. Anyway that is my report on the Wichita meeting, I think I will be making a few more trips to Wichita.
